Editing Basketball Game Events in Hoopsalytics
Many of our coaches will add details to their game stats, like labelling inbounds plays, adding details to shots, or inserting actions to be tracked. This post illustrates how this is done.
First of all, go to your games page, find the game to modify, then click More -> Add Scoring Detail (2nd pass).
As seen at the top of this article, you’ll see the game appear, with events on the left, video in the middle, and your scoring panel on the right.
To modify an event, click on it’s badge on the left hand side:
An edit screen will appear. Here’s what appears when clicking on a 2 pt shot:
You can change the player or the details, of delete the event from here.
To add new events, just use the scoring panel on the right side. Make sure to add an event at the time of the video so that your video linked stats will work properly. This page shows how to do basic game scoring.
