Update: More Detailed Assist Tracking

If you’re looking to see what kind of assists each player creates, the new Assist Details options in Hoopsalytics gives you even more insights.

Just click the magnifier next to assists in any box score:

And you’ll see assists broken down by transition vs. half-court set, and two-pointers versus 3-pointers, like so:

Note that we can’t determine how some assists occurred, these are the “General” ones.

And in some cases you may need to refresh your game stats (under the More button next to the game), to get this data to appear.
